Getting an autism evaluation doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Gracious Growth guides your family through screening and diagnosis with clarity, compassion, and genuine care.

Autism presents differently in every child. What matters most is the overall picture — not any single behavior in isolation. Early identification opens the door to earlier support.
Limited eye contact, not responding to their name, and preferring to play alone.
Fewer gestures, delayed speech, limited word use, or loss of language milestones.
Upset by small changes in routine, strong fixations on specific objects or topics.
Repeating sounds or movements, hand-flapping, rocking, or spinning objects.

A screening is not a diagnosis. It’s a simple, low-pressure process to help you understand whether a full evaluation makes sense for your child.
Our team can walk you through screening quickly — often in a single visit or virtually. No referral needed to begin. We accept most insurances including Medicaid, across Utah, North Carolina, and Colorado.

The ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition) is one of the most trusted tools available for autism diagnosis. During the evaluation, a trained clinician engages your child in structured activities designed to naturally elicit the kinds of behaviors relevant to an autism diagnosis — communication, social interaction, play, and imaginative use of materials. It is observational, not a test your child can pass or fail.
We approach every child and family with empathy, patience, and respect. Building trust and creating a supportive environment is the foundation of everything we do.
We’ll arrange a convenient time for one of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to visit your home. They’ll discuss your child’s needs and ask questions to better understand how they can help your child thrive.
Our services are grounded in research-backed ABA methods and guided by ongoing data collection to ensure therapy remains effective, meaningful, and responsive.
Families play a vital role in a child’s progress. We prioritize collaboration, parent training, and open communication so support continues beyond therapy sessions.
The Childhood Autism Spectrum Test (CAST) is an autism screening
tool developed by the Autism Research Centre at the University of
Cambridge for children ages 4 to 11.
