Intake Coordinator
Sara worked for several years in the ABA field before joining Gracious Growth as the Intake Coordinator. In her role, she supports families through the intake and onboarding process with care, patience, and compassion.
Psychologist
Dr. Newman is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in comprehensive neurodevelopmental evaluations for children. With extensive experience across outpatient, private practice, and psychiatric settings, Dr. Newman has spent the past several years conducting evidence-based assessments focused on autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning differences, and developmental disabilities. Her expertise in autism evaluations for children ages 18 months to 12 years is complemented by a compassionate, family-centered approach that helps caregivers gain clarity, access appropriate supports, and navigate next steps with confidence. Dr. Newman is passionate about early identification, diagnostic accuracy, and partnering with families to help children thrive.
Case Manager
I have worked for the past four years as both a Crisis Paraprofessional and a Teacher’s Assistant in a special needs school, supporting children with a wide range of developmental, behavioral, and learning needs, including many children with autism. In this role, I have fostered students’ communication, social, and emotional development while maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment. Prior to this, I worked as a Personal Administrative Assistant in a playgroup, where I developed strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. I chose to work with children with autism because I am passionate about helping each child reach their individual potential.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Alexis is a BCBA with 9 years of experience supporting autistic children and their families through compassionate, evidence-based ABA. She began her career as an RBT in 2017, earned her BCaBA credential in 2019, and became a BCBA in 2020. Alexis has worked with children across a variety of ages and developmental needs in home, clinic, school, and daycare settings, with a focus on trauma-informed, assent-based care. In addition to providing direct clinical services, she has supervised graduate students pursuing BCBA certification, providing mentorship focused on ethical, high-quality clinical practice.
Alexis is passionate about helping children build meaningful skills while empowering families with practical strategies that support lasting success. She values individualized, family-centered care and believes the best outcomes come from collaborative partnerships that honor each child’s unique strengths, interests, and goals.
